Moses was the greatest leader in the Old Testament. In interesting ways, his life was defined by water:
- Saved in basket in the Nile
- Meeting his wife, Zipporah, at a well
- Turning the Nile waters to blood
- Parting the Read Sea going out of Egypt
- Striking the rock and providing water for the people
- Not being able to cross the Jordan and enter Canaan
Moses had his moments of failure and disobedience, but as he journeyed down God's river of mercy and grace, Moses was transformed into the incredible person of faith he allowed God to make him. His journey of faith is a powerful reminder that our lives do not have to be defined by our failures, but we can move beyond those and leave a lasting legacy:
- Our story is river, not a stagnant pond!
- Our failure isn't fatal unless its final!
- Our story isn't ove when life is done!
So let's allow God's river of mercy and grace to help us move beyond our past failures and leave a legacy of faith that is testimony to God's great work in us!
