In John chapters 3 and 4, we meet two very different people. In fact, Nicodemus and the woman at the well were about as opposite as any two people could have been in the world in which Jesus traveled. But Jesus made them more than neighbors ... they both became His followers.

But how?

How did two very opposite people find the end of their search in Jesus? Jesus listened for the hurt and hope of their hearts!

Who in our world do we overlook simply because we think they are too old/young, rich/poor, religious/anti-religious to want to know more about Jesus?

And how in the world do we ever reach people the way Jesus did?

We keep going back to Jesus and His example and His love. And with the Lord's help, we will personally listen for each person's heart.
